ARE YOU A GOOD MOTHER?
Are you a good mother? This question is actually incorrect because we all are
good enough for our kids. Being a mother is the most challenging yet beautiful
task, specially to a young child When you know, you need to see that your child is
growing properly and is getting groomed by you both physically and emotionally
and also learning the basic concepts that will help your kiddo not only in
their future studies but also in their ability to understand and differentiate
between what is right and wrong.
All the above seems quite easy, as our mothers have already
done this for us. But for us the modern aged moms when we are already creating
a balance between our personal and professional life, all this comes as an added
responsibility and that to when there is so much of competition outside specially
when it comes to studies and also the push in the society for the overall
development of the kids. But still this is not enough because we all want our
kids to be morally clear and also culturally aware.
Many a times we as mother think about what is the best
for our child but all that is very relative specially about their future and
their ever increasing studies. In all of this, many a times, most of us starts
pressurizing and pushing our kiddos and not only for studies but also for other
activities forgetting the actual fact that they are just kids and they need to
make use of their childhood to the fullest.
So, the best thing is to do is to
find a balance between their studies and their playing needs too. So that they
get an overall personality development. As it is rightly said, “all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy and Jill a dull girl”.
Kids not only need our attention and care but also our love. We should love
them the way they are and not when they get good marks. Afterall not every kid
is a great student some are great players, some great musicians, some dancers
so on and so forth.
